  • On February 16, 2025, Luke Merwin led the congregation in singing Amazing Grace.
  • Elder Brad led the congregation in prayer.
  • Elder Board Chairman Tom opened the meeting, and a quorum was declared.
  • Tom gave the Elder Board Report.
  • There was a motion by Pastor Santiago, seconded by Sara Brand, to waive the reading of the minutes.
  • The motion passed unanimously.
  • Trustee Alan introduced the trustees and Laurie Potter and then gave the Financial Report for 2024.
  • Alan reported that we had an encouraging year, and he reported that it was the best December we had in the past 10 years.
  • Operating revenue was 10% over budget.
  • Operating expenses was 3% under budget.
  • Financial asset funds grew 63%.
  • We gained 38 new giving units and lost 23.
  • There was a motion by Jim Brand, seconded by Lisa, to accept the 2025 Financial Report.
  • The motion passed unanimously.
  • Trustee Alan then presented the budget for 2025.
  • Payroll would be up 10% because of the next-generation pastor and pastor Santiago's salaries.
  • We are budgeting a $9,000 loss on a $600,000 budget.
  • Pastor Rob gave the Next-Generation Ministry Report.
  • He explained the ministry for children and for students, and that the focus was on building bridges to Jesus.
  • The children, Legacy Kids, were focusing on knowing, loving, and following Jesus.
  • He explained that he wanted to partner with the parents to help them disciple their children.
  • Justine Pucker is leading the team.
  • He discussed the vision going forward to help the children and students to “fall in love with Jesus”.
  • He discussed some of the various activities that took place over the past year.
  • The mission of “Bridge Students” was to be who Jesus Christ designed them to be.
  • Pastor Santiago gave the Community Life report.
  • He discussed life groups, support, and Bible studies.
  • He described the Next Steps program.
  • He reported on baby dedications and baptisms.
  • Life groups were discussed and explained, describing the pattern of a small group concept. There are presently 12 such groups.
  • The purpose is to lead everyone to maturity and some to leadership.
  • He reported that 70% of our church attenders participate in life groups. He encouraged everyone to get involved with life groups.
  • The Highlight Video described in the agenda was not available.
  • The Senior Pastor’s Report was given by Pastor Santiago. Pastor Dell was unavailable because his and LiAna’s son Levi passed away a few days earlier.
  • Pastor Santiago read Pastor Dell’s report to the congregation.
  • He spoke of a foundation of prayer, care, and share.
  • He asked that we be available to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
  • He said we must prioritize prayer and that corporate prayer and worship are pillars of our church life.
  • He spoke of the Care Ministry, which is compassionate action coupled with prayer - helping the hurting.
  • He spoke about the need to spread the good news of the gospel. He asked for life group encouragement with the surrounding community and spoke of evangelism training.
  • The goal is to build bridges to Christ in our communities and neighborhoods.
  • He thanked the staff, the elders, the trustees, and the volunteers for their efforts.
  • The ballots were counted, and the voting results were as follows:
    • The budget for 2025 passed 60-0.
    • All elders were retained.
  • Luke led the congregation in the hymn “Be Thou My Vision”.
  • Chairman Tom called for a motion to adjourn, and it was moved and seconded by numerous members of the congregation.
  • The motion passed unanimously.
