Community Life Report
Our LGCC community life is thriving! 2025 was a busy year across our church family as we focused on meeting people where they were at in their journey and helping them deepen in their relationship with the Lord. We were able to do this in a variety of exciting ways.
One of the most critical elements of our Community Life Ministry is our Life Groups. Life groups offer the opportunity for individuals to experience Christ in a small group context. Throughout 2025, we offered a multitude of life groups on topics ranging from discipleship discovery courses, different Bible/theology classes, and specific groups for men, women, and young families. We were overjoyed to see 100+ individuals engaged in a life group at some point during the year.
We also walked alongside individuals as they took the time to learn more about the church as part of our Next Steps series. New attenders were able to have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge not only of our church but also God’s plan for them as a part of it. Coming out of the Next Step classes we were overjoyed to see 10 individuals make the decision to join LGCC as full-time members.
We were able to walk with 5 different individuals through baptism in 2025 as they made the decision to outwardly express their salvation through baptism. We always want to take time during our services to celebrate these moments with our members.
There were also a few opportunities during the year where we were fortunate to bring in outside musicians to lead us in worship and fellowship as a community; this included a Joel Ansett Concert in September as well as Songs by the Fire in early November. These offered opportunities to gather as a body and make a joyful noise.
