NextGen Report
Rob Booth, NextGen Pastor
Our heart is to partner with parents and caregivers, offering intentional support as they disciple their children from infancy through high school graduation. We provide age-specific ministries focusing on curriculum, groups, events, and milestones, ensuring that the gospel is communicated in developmentally appropriate ways.
2024 was a year of transition and change as God worked in a variety of ways through the NextGen Ministry. We welcomed Rob Booth, as the new NextGen Pastor, overseeing both the children’s ministry (Legacy Kids) and older youth group (BRIDGE Students). The NextGen ministry space also was transformed as the Legacy Kids classrooms were remodeled and the playground renovation project was completed to further promote spaces where kids feel safe, welcomed, and excited to learn about Jesus.
The NextGen Ministry hosted many fun events to encourage fellowship both with kids and parents alike including game nights, apple picking, and even a NERF war. There was also a concerted effort to not only point inward for fun, but also to reach out to serve the broader community. This was best demonstrated by the Fall Fest that saw kids and parents come together in the community to make meaningful connections.
While 2024 was an exciting year of change for our NextGen Ministry, the constant was our mission to impact communities by guiding young hearts to a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
'Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.'
Proverbs 22:6 (NLT)
