Communications Ministry
Amanda Mangay-ayam, Director of Communications
2024 was a big year for the communications ministry. Much of the year was focused on rebranding with our new logo, mission, vision and values.
Over the summer, as we rolled out our new logo, mission and vision, our website received a complete overhaul. We were able to transition from an outdated site and host to a more user friendly version to better serve each of you. In addition, all of our social media accounts were updated with a new handle (or username), @lgcc.bridge.builders. We updated our sign on 53, redesigned church swag for our guests, created special booklets for our vision roll out and more.
We continue to see an increase in involvement on our various social media accounts, with sermon reels, quotes, and more posted each day. Our Live-Stream continues to stay steady. Through these accounts we are reaching people around the world on a daily basis.
As we continue to build bridges to Christ, we have two tools to help you, first is our Church Center app, in which you can register for event, connect with Life Groups, access resources and more. You can download it from your app store, or visit thelgcc.churchcenter.com from your computer. The second tool that we’ve introduced this year is the BLESS App, which follows the BLESS Practice to connect with others in our communities.
'But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
Romans 10:14-15 (NLT)
